"The first part of the season was tough, because I was not used to driving so high a level, but after the Tour everything changed. I got stronger both physically and mentally, and I have achieved great results with the victory in Coppa Sabatini as the crown of the work, "says Pasqualon.
 
The work continues
Just completing a Grand Tour and winning a race against the best are things that Pasqualon feels he can take in next season, hoping to be able to raise the level further.
 
"Next year will be an important year for me, as I now feel that I can win high-level races. That's why it's important to get well through the winter at home and at the various training camps with the whole team, "concludes Pasqualon.

HOGE VERWACHTINGEN
De verwachtingen zijn niet min. "Dankzij de ervaringen die hij dit jaar verzameld heeft moet hij in 2018 een stap hoger kunnen zetten. Hij kan zeker presteren in lastige wedstrijden als de Amstel Gold Race, maar ook in bijvoorbeeld de Ronde van Vlaanderen. Daarin zullen we een keuze moeten maken", aldus teammanager Hilaire Van der Schueren.
